Instead of admiring the ocean, she’s scanning nearby yachts to check whether someone else is richer, hotter, younger, or emotionally fulfilled.
This work explores the modern condition of having enough while remaining deeply committed to wanting more. Even surrounded by comfort and privilege, the comparison reflex refuses to clock off.
The binoculars become a tool for aspirational research.
