The Aspirational Series

I make art about the wanting mind — yours, mine, all of ours. That part of you that thinks happiness is just one achievement, one luxury item, or one perfect image away. You might see a fast car, a designer object, or a scene that feels aspirational. And maybe you feel drawn to it — maybe you even want it. That’s intentional. My work explores the tension between desire and identity: how what we chase shapes who we think we are. It’s part celebration, part critique — because I’m a sucker for it too. Now I paint it, put it on a wall and ask you to sit with it for a moment longer.
